These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Prayer Reel and the website https://theprayerreel.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Adventra Digital ("we," "us," "our").
By accessing the Service, placing an order, or using any feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil, regardless of your country of residence.
Prayer Reel is a digital art project operated by Adventra Digital, based in São Paulo, Brazil. Adventra Digital is the contracting party under these Terms. For all matters related to the Service, contact: support@theprayerreel.com.
"Service": the website theprayerreel.com, the order flow, the prayer videos generated, the customer support channels, and all related features.
"User," "you," "your": any person who accesses the Service, places an order, or interacts with any of our pages or emails.
"Recipient": the person whose name is provided by the User to be included in a prayer video.
"Prayer Video" or "Prayer Reel": the audiovisual artwork generated by the Service combining a recipient's name, an occasion category, an intercessor character, and a prayer text drawn from public-domain biblical sources.
"Order": a paid request for the generation and delivery of a Prayer Video.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or use the Service. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
The Service does not require account creation. Each order is identified by a unique link sent to the email provided at checkout. You are responsible for keeping that link secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from a forwarded or publicly shared order link.
If we discover that an order was placed by a minor, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
Prayer Reel is a digital art project that combines human creative direction and artificial intelligence. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
(a) Prayer Reel is not a religious institution, denomination, church, temple, or place of worship. We are not affiliated with any religious body. Nothing in the Service constitutes pastoral care, sacrament, absolution, intercession recognized by any religious authority, or spiritual counseling.
(b) The intercessors shown in our videos (Grace, Samuel, Maria, David) are fictional characters created by Adventra Digital. They are not real clergy, pastors, priests, ministers, or spiritual leaders. They do not represent any real person.
(c) The locations shown in our videos are not filmed in physical places. They are envisioned environments generated by AI inspired by geographic and historical contexts.
(d) The prayer texts are sourced from the World English Bible, a public-domain translation. The Service is not an endorsement of any particular interpretation, denomination, or theological position.
(e) The Service is intended for personal, devotional, and artistic use. It is not a substitute for, and should not be used as a replacement for, real spiritual community, pastoral care, religious counsel, mental health support, or medical advice.
(f) We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the spiritual, religious, or emotional efficacy of any Prayer Video. The Service is provided as artistic expression and not as religious practice.
(g) Each Prayer Video is generated using AI tools. AI is a tool subject to technical limitations and occasional imperfections, including but not limited to: pronunciation errors, frame inconsistencies, audio variations, sync deviations, generation failures, and unexpected aesthetic outcomes. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these limitations as inherent to the nature of AI-generated content.
(h) Our intent in producing each Prayer Video is reverent and respectful. Technical imperfections that may occur are not to be interpreted as disrespect, mockery, or bad faith.
(i) The Service may produce variations between videos generated for the same combination of recipient, category, and intercessor. Such variation is intentional and inherent to the AI generation process.
(j) Service availability is not guaranteed. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party provider outages, or operational decisions made by Adventra Digital.
(a) Prices are listed on the website in U.S. dollars (USD) and are charged at checkout via Stripe. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Adventra Digital is the merchant of record for all transactions. The charge on your bank statement will appear as "PRAYER REEL."
(b) Once you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation, the order is binding. The fulfillment process begins immediately and is typically completed within minutes.
(c) Pricing is subject to change without prior notice. The price in effect at the moment you complete checkout is the price applicable to your order.
(d) We reserve the right to:
(e) If we cancel an order before fulfillment, we will issue a full refund through Stripe. If we cancel an order after partial fulfillment, we will issue a refund proportional to the unfulfilled portion or, at our discretion, a full refund.
(f) Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, available at https://theprayerreel.com/refund-policy. The Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You agree not to use the Service to:
(a) Submit a recipient name that is, or contains, a profanity, slur, sexual content, or hate speech.
(b) Submit the name of a known criminal, terrorist, mass murderer, authoritarian dictator, war criminal, or any historical figure associated with violence, genocide, or hate (including but not limited to Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Osama Bin Laden, Pol Pot, Ted Bundy, Charles Manson). Adventra Digital reserves absolute discretion to determine which names fall within this prohibition.
(c) Submit the name of a real third party without that person's authorization to be included in a prayer video. By submitting a recipient name, you represent and warrant that you have such authorization. Adventra Digital does not verify this authorization and is not liable for any harm or claim arising from your failure to obtain it.
(d) Submit the name of a minor (under 18) without the explicit consent of the minor's parent or legal guardian. The responsibility for obtaining such consent rests entirely with you.
(e) Use the Service to mock, parody, harass, defame, or distress any person.
(f) Use the Service to create content intended to be misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent in any context (including but not limited to deepfakes, impersonation, or political manipulation).
(g) Use the Service for any commercial resale or repackaging without our prior written authorization. Each Prayer Video is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
(h) Attempt to access, reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service, our systems, our APIs, or the underlying AI providers.
(i) Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to place orders or to interact with any feature of the Service.
(j) Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, including profanity filters, rate limits, or refund kill switches.
(k) Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Law of Brazil (LGPD), the GDPR, the CCPA, or any criminal, intellectual property, or consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Violation of any provision in this Section 6 may result in immediate order cancellation without refund, permanent restriction of your email and IP from placing future orders, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement or relevant authorities.
(a) All elements of the Service — including the website design, the brand identity (Prayer Reel, Adventra Digital, the intercessor characters, the visual style, the logos, the marketing copy, and any underlying code) — are the exclusive property of Adventra Digital, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Brazil and applicable international treaties.
(b) Each Prayer Video generated through the Service is licensed to the purchaser under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use. You may share the video with the recipient and other private recipients via private channels (text message, email, private social media post). You may not:
(c) Adventra Digital retains all rights, title, and interest in and to all intellectual property associated with the Service. No rights are granted to you except those expressly stated in these Terms.
(d) The prayer texts used in the videos are sourced from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. The musical compositions used are royalty-free. The visual aesthetic, character design, character voices, and overall production are original works of Adventra Digital.
You acknowledge that the Service relies on AI generation tools and that AI generation has inherent limitations. Specifically:
(a) The Service is delivered "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that any specific Prayer Video will meet your subjective expectations regarding quality, aesthetic, accuracy of name pronunciation, or any other qualitative attribute.
(b) AI generation may produce occasional errors. Such errors are not breach of these Terms and do not entitle you to remedies beyond those set forth in our Refund Policy.
(c) The Service relies on third-party AI providers (see our Privacy Policy, Section 5). These providers operate under their own terms of service and privacy practices. Adventra Digital does not control, and is not responsible for, the practices of these providers, including their use of submitted inputs and generated outputs for their own purposes (such as model improvement). You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of these third-party providers if this is a concern.
(d) AI-generated content may inadvertently produce outputs that resemble copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise restricted material in unforeseeable ways. If you believe a Prayer Video produced by the Service infringes any rights, contact us at support@theprayerreel.com and we will investigate promptly.
(e) The intent behind every Prayer Video produced is reverent and respectful. Adventra Digital makes no warranty that the Service will produce content perfectly aligned with your specific religious, denominational, or cultural sensibilities.
The Service depends on the continued availability of third-party providers, including but not limited to Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, ElevenLabs, and Modal. We do not control these providers. Their service interruptions, policy changes, pricing changes, or discontinuation may affect the Service.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the action, inaction, or policy change of any third-party provider.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
(a) The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted operation.
(b) Adventra Digital, its operators, representatives, and providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, emotional distress, religious offense, or any intangible loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
(c) Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service, regardless of the form of the claim, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
(d) Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
(e) Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Brazilian law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Adventra Digital, its operators, representatives, and providers from and against any claim, demand, lawsuit, proceeding, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
(a) Your violation of these Terms.
(b) Your violation of Section 6 (Acceptable Use).
(c) Your submission of a recipient's name without proper authorization.
(d) Your use of the Service in any manner that infringes the rights of a third party (including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights).
(e) Any chargeback or payment dispute initiated in bad faith or in violation of our Refund Policy.
This obligation shall survive termination of these Terms.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://theprayerreel.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
(a) We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive behavior, or operational reasons.
(b) Termination does not entitle you to any refund unless the termination is the result of action by us in violation of these Terms.
(c) The provisions of Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms will reflect the most recent revision.
If a change is material — meaning it significantly affects your rights or obligations under these Terms — we will notify users by email when feasible and through a notice on the homepage of theprayerreel.com. The notice period will be at least 15 days from the date of notification before the new Terms take effect, unless the change is required by law or imposed by a third-party provider with shorter notice.
Continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Service.
(a) These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
(b) The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be the courts of the Comarca de São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil. You expressly waive any objection based on inconvenient forum, lack of personal jurisdiction, or any similar ground.
(c) Before filing any legal action, you agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@theprayerreel.com. We will respond within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved informally within 60 days from initial contact, either party may proceed to formal legal action.
(d) Notwithstanding subsection (c), either party may seek injunctive relief or equitable remedies at any time without first attempting informal resolution.
(e) If you reside in a jurisdiction where mandatory consumer protection laws apply (such as the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code in Brazil, or analogous statutes elsewhere), nothing in these Terms shall be construed to deprive you of rights granted under those laws.
(a) Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be replaced by an enforceable provision that achieves, as closely as possible, the original intent.
(b) Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing.
(c) Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Adventra Digital regarding the Service, superseding all prior agreements, whether oral or written.
(d) Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
(e) Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, network or infrastructure failures, or third-party provider outages.
(f) Notices. Any notice from us to you may be sent by email to the address provided at checkout or posted on the website. Any notice from you to us must be sent to support@theprayerreel.com.
(g) Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
(h) Language. These Terms are written in English. In the event of translation into another language, the English version shall prevail in case of conflict.
